World Vision 30-Hour Famine 2013

The World Vision 30-Hour Famine is a 17-year tradition at ACS!
Open To
Grade 9 - 12 students
What We Do
Students collect pledges, then go for 30 hours without eating food.
The money raised goes to the charity World Vision to help with their programs, including education, water, childrens' rights, and food.
Time Committment
Participants must attend an organizational meeting, usually at a lunch hour.
The famine runs from 12:00 a.m. on a Friday morning, to Saturday at 6:00 a.m.
If you participate in the school sleepover, you stay at school Friday evening and go home Saturday morning by 8:00 a.m
Cost to Participate
There is no cost to take part in the famine, but it is a fundraising activity. Don't forget the purpose of the Famine!
